I have made copies of obsolete audio media-tapes, discs, wires, cylinders and belts-for hundreds of clients over the years. Most were from home and professional recordings on light cardboard, uncoated and lacquer-coated aluminum, and problem tapes. I have successfully completed substantial projects for major musical aggregations- the New York Philharmonic and the Chicago Symphony Orchestras- and organizations emphasizing the spoken word- the George Meany Memorial Archives, the Maryknoll Mission Archives and the American Jewish Archives. I have produced records issued form my preservation tapes for some of them. One cooperative effort resulted in a shared Grammy nomination (1998).
